Within this unit I learned that there are 4 basic skills in any language; receptive skills- reading and listening, and productive skills such as writing and speaking. These are all important lessons that require a well balanced and thorough approach. This unit touched on the problems of listening and reading, language, how we read and listen, and tasks, topics, and other activities to keep the students well engaged and receptive by forming interests
with the lesson.
