I can tell that this unit would be very difficult for students, as it was difficult even for me, a native English speaker. There are a lot of difficult forms to learn and a lot of exceptions and it seems that the only way to really learn it all is by memorizing and continual practice in order to internalize the information. Also, some of the forms seemed like they would be used differently in speech than in writing, though I'm not certain about that, it seems like that would possibly be another cause for concern since as the teacher, I would be inclined to say something is correct (because it is a form of a correct usage) but it's maybe not the correct current usage.
