In this unit we learned about the present tense. We studied the present simple, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous. I was surprised to know that the present progressive had changed in name since I studied these parts of grammar last. I guess that this is to simplify the names for those who are unfamiliar with English. I was relieved to see that the grammar rules where still the same as those I was familiar with. I was impressed with the level of detail and clarity in the explanations of the chapter and will continue to used this as a resource when teaching these grammar rules.
