This lesson covered teaching new language, specifically focusing on vocabulary, grammar and language functions. Which each of these it gave lists of possible activities and a sample lesson. It also suggested certain ESA structures, but emphasized that the suggested way is not the only effective way. I was again reminded that I tend to focus on grammar, perhaps to the extent of neglecting vocabulary and language function. I was also reminded that each type has it’s purpose and place in language learning.
