This unit discussed the main different parts of speech, and mentioned some difficulties students may have in learning these. Nouns, adjectives, articles, verbs,adverbs, gerunds, pronouns, prepositions, and conjunctions were explained with examples. From this unit I have learnt that there are many rules English speakers use but are not aware of, and I have also learnt how to explain these rules to students
