In this unit, I learned many new methodologies of teaching. For example, in the Silent Way, even though it is not the best method, the concept of using colored rods with each rod indicating a grammar point or sound/intonation was new to me. Along with learning about the different methods of teaching, the concept of ESA and its alternatives helped me understand how to properly structure a class to allow the best learning experience for students of all levels. I enjoyed the different activity ideas for each part of the lesson as well. Overall, Unit 3 was very informational in methods, activity ideas, and class structure.
