This unit goes over some of the different groups of students a teacher may encounter, such as children, one-on-one lessons, lessons specifically targeted to specific fields, and classes that may be monolingual or multilingual. As some of the other units have illustrated, the language teacher must be flexible and adapt their lesson and teaching style depending on who they are teaching. Different groups of students have very different language needs, and the teacher needs to be able to assess what those are, and meet them.
