Auxiliary verbs
• ADVERBS – describe verbs
Main types: manner, place, time, degree, frequency
• GERUNDS
Gerund = verb + ing (used as noun)
• PRONOUNS – take the place of a noun
Types: personal, possessive, reflexive, relative
• PREPOSITIONS – show relationship between noun/pronoun and rest of the sentence
Main types: time, place, movement
• CONJUNCTIONS are linking words
