Lesson plans should be designed to encourage as much student talking as possible. Each student should talk during the lesson. Students should be encouraged to self-correct if possible but don't belabor that if it is obvious they cannot self-correct. Engagement, Study and Activation should be present in every lesson plan. Correction shouldn't be made in the engagement phase and it should be minimal in the activation phase unless it is clear that the lesson concepts haven't been understood.
