This Unit did not explain much, but that only means their is a lot more to learn and study. I am more excited now about taking the CTBE and CTEYL Courses, because I defiantly see room for improvement for me personally. I am very nervous about teaching English in Japan, especially when I only know the Basics of the language. But, I will feel much more comfortable when I follow up on this Unit study and get the full knowledge of how to present my class and style of teaching to varies groups and individuals. I do say as of right now, I do feel like for Beginner Students, it is necessary to use their Native Language to explain the worksheets and activities. Otherwise, it could leave your students in a bowl of confusion and nothing would get done and less would be learned, as well as, lesson plans ruined. However, I do feel like I can study more on this topic and decide when and when not it is necessary to use Native Language and English.
