The use of games is a great way to get student's motivated, engaged and having fun while learning. Almost any game can be adapted to the classroom! Many points need to be considered for writing in particular, especially spelling, grammar, punctuation, handwriting (very personal), and the type of writing being done (e.g. email, story, comic strip). Speaking often requires encouragement for the quieter students, and it's important to ensure everyone has a turn and gets involved. Preparation of a presentation, especially for free speaking activities, is just as, if not more important than the presentation itself, as long as the students are talking and communicating in english.
