This unit outlines the aspects of being a good teacher or a good learner; the roles of the teacher in the classroom; levels of language knowledge; the reasons for learning a foreign language. Unit 1 made me reflect on my personality and whether I meet the criteria of being a good teacher or not; if I care more about my teaching style or my students' learning. The information given in this unit also highlighted the roles I perform during my classes reminding me of some actual situations.
