This unit went over the ways a teacher can manage their classroom. The unit covered topics such as eye contact, seating arrangements, student interaction, and gestures. Something I learned from this unit is the importance of really knowing your class and knowing what type of seating arrangement or activities would be most beneficial for your class. I also had never thought about being aware of when you are writing on the board and when you have your back to the students and how that can be detrimental to student engagement or understanding.
