Not jumping in to correct students during fluency exercises will be an important aspect of this lesson to remember. Keeping the mistakes in mind so that they can be discussed in private is a much better idea. Or, if everyone is struggling with it, use it as an opportunity to create a lesson plan to address it in class. I think many people, simply trying to help, would jump and correct the mistake immediately. Mistakes are going to be inevitable during any production focused class, so a good milieu will prevent students from being discouraged and perhaps even excited at the opportunity to try again. Incorporating games that everyone is familiar with is a great opportunity to practice; especially simple games for little children who would only have a limited vocabulary.
