Unit #4 covered the four different aspects of the present tense: present simple, present perfect, present continuous, and present perfect continuous. I learned the correct forms of the present tense, as well as when and how each form should be used. This unit taught me several ways I can help my students understand the present tense. I now know some of the reasons behind common grammar mistakes in this area, and how to explain and correct them.
