The first video contained a lot of seemingly minor occurrences that taken cumulatively created a much more unproductive classroom. He was quick to correct, pointed directly at students and didn't clearly explain his activities. His visual aids seemed to be pretty small and he didn't allow all the student an opportunity to look at what he was holding. In the second video, the teacher used examples and demonstrated what he intended and the students seemed much more engaged in the lesson. It was nice to see him take the time to greet each of the students and the way he prompted the students during the engage phase was well done.
