The focus of this unit was on future tenses. I discovered from the introductory notes how the present simple and present continuous tense even though they belong to the present tense can be considered under the future tense due to the roles that they are playing, telling us of a future event. The teaching ideas and likely errors to be committed by students and its reasons have been beneficial to me. I also learnt the difference between the "be going +infinitive form" of the future tense and the present continuous form.
