This unit went over the different stages of a lesson using the Engage, Study, Activate method. It also went over different methods of teaching your class and it emphasized that all methods should be used in a classroom to provide variety and different activities for your class to take part in. What I learned from this unit is the importance of knowing your class well enough to know what method of teaching that they would benefit from and which students need correction and which ones do not. Knowing this will keep your students comfortable and willing to participate in the lesson without feeling embarrassed or offended.
