The teacher's attitude, style of teaching, and expressions are the biggest things to be noticed. It's true that if we, as teachers, don't put the lesson at a level that the students can grasp (and yet is challenging) then they will have a hard time being interested in the lesson. We must find that balance. In addition, we need to be sure, regardless of our mood, that we are communicating friendliness and care. That way, our students will be more relaxed and willing to participate
