This Unit provided an overview of the many future tenses of the English language. As a native speaker, I learned English simply by being immersed in it without having been specifically taught the tenses separately, so this unit and the other units that cover tenses reiterate to me how rich and complex the English language is. This has allowed me to sympathise with people learning English as their second language and I have learned that above all, a great deal of patience and understanding is required to teach English as a second language.
