This unit provided an interesting overview of different methodologies. I never realized the difference in semantics between a mistake and an error but this is a good explanation for those who are overly hard on themselves. I do like the stress on corrections. Compliment sandwiches (positive observation followed by the correction point followed up by another positive observation). It makes students more willing to listen to feedback and integrate it into their learning.
