Unit 13 was about teaching pronunciation and phonology. My main take away from this unit was a much deeper understanding of the technicality of pronunciation and phonology such that it will equip me with the skills to be able to teach it well. Furthermore, I have learned that phonemes each represent a sound in the English language. Finally, I have become familiar with the phonemic chart, something that as a native speaker I was not explicitly taught in school.
