Here Below you can check out the feedback (for one of our units) of one of the 16.000 students that last year took an online course with ITTT!

This unit highlights the importance of lesson planning - particularly for less experienced teachers - and suggests a format for lesson planning which takes into account many factors which need to be considered, as well as providing a set of materials for the task lessons which act as good examples of the types of materials you could use. For my current lessons I usually only use written lesson plans for my school classes, where I am teaching a lot of students at once (25-30); for adult classes, I prepare the materials but more often than not do not have a written plan, due to preparation time constraints and feeling more comfortable (the materials I prepare usually act as my guide to what we will be doing and in what order). However, this unit provides a lot of very compelling reasons why it's always beneficial to have some form of written lesson plan, be it a comprehensive planning form or some basic notes. In particular, having a written record of what I intend for my students to achieve in each lesson and some personal aims would be extremely helpful to have in front of me whilst I teach, so that it is always there to remind me and prevent me from getting side-tracked. The principle of revision during a sequence of lessons is also something that I have somewhat neglected during my school classes and in future I will definitely aim to include at least some brief revision in each lesson of the previous unit, most likely be eliciting some answers from students in relation to what we learnt and perhaps a couple of examples. Overall, this unit has been very useful for me in illustrating the myriad of important aspects to lesson planning, the reasons why it is so important and that this is an area on which I certainly need to focus more with my future lessons.
