This unit seems to be quite heavy with the parts of speech. Though it brought back some unpleasant memories of my high school experience of taking English, it is a good refresher. My initial thought is how much we as English speaking society take for granted the way we write and speak. I think I would have a hard time getting to the "nitty-gritty" of the parts of speech. In retrospect, it would depend on the level that you were teaching. Introducing the general parts of speech would seem to be the starting place or even breaking the eight up into individual units. Just think out loud.
