Unit 6 discusses the past tenses, they are divided into four tenses: past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous. This unit is very similar to Unit 4, and just as confusing. It mostly followed a lot of the same rules to distinguish amongst the different tenses, but definitely added many more irregular verbs in the past simple tense. Unfortunately, students who wish to master the English language must memorize these irregular verbs.
