This was an excellent unit and a great refresher for manipulating past tense. I must admit I was a bit concerned approaching this unit if only because the unit on present tense was rather difficult for me to organize and begin developing ideas about how I would approach teaching that unit. The past tense proved to be a bit less overwhelming, although I did feel that fewer actual class activities were offered. I am presuming that is because the activities that can be used for reinforcing present tenses, can easily be reformatted for teaching past tense. Overall I felt the unit flowed well and in particular, the "usage" section for each tense was very helpful.
