These videos of two lessons were very enlightening. I feel the instructor’s attitude was much more welcoming in the second video than in the first. He also explained the activities better in the second video. In the first video he was short tempered or unfriendly to the students who were late. He could have mentioned the goal of arriving on time in a more welcoming manor. In the second video the teacher was more open to humor and he appeared to be having a pleasant time teaching. In the first video he appeared to be just tolerating his job. I also felt, in both videos, not much effort was made in the preparation. There were some activities, mill drills, but the props were just handouts. A better job could have be done.
