This unit was about receptive skills and its relevance. At the end of the lesson, i have been provided with a broader spectrum of reasons for reading and listening skills beyond the normal reasons common to everyone. Receptive skills is vital in the teaching and learning process and there is a wide range of things to look out for to develop this kind of skill and i have become abreast with them now. I have also learnt how to select topics or text to suit my students and the purposes of my lesson.
