Mention of language functions was a discovery for me. Got some food for thoughts. The whole division into grammar/ vocabulary and functions
seems to be quite clear and logical. I hope I’ll get more detailed review of methods appropriate for particular stages and depending on content. Teaching functions however seems to me as a feature of some training class for specific needs, while vocabulary and grammar are quite universal for any group and level.
