Unit 8: Future tenses explored seven different tenses. There are the future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, 'going to' future, present simple used in the future tense, and present continuous used in the future tense. All have specific usages and grammatical structures and good ways to teach each tense. Students may become confused by some tenses and some may be taught together to avoid common mistakes by comparing and contrasting the similar forms.
