Unit 1 covered what qualities make for a good teacher, what a healthy teacher and student classroom relationship should look like, teacher roles, what qualities make for a good student, factors in the potential success and engagement of a student, general levels of language proficiency, CEF language levels and the like. I have learned what qualities of a good teacher and good student are most important from my perspective and helped me identify some high level qualities I need to develop to become a good teacher and some which I believe I already possess. Also, I learned that there are formal levels of proficiency of a language.
