In this unit, i learnt the past simple, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous categories of past tenses. I also learnt their various forms, their correct usage, common errors made by students when using them and activate stage teaching ideas that make students understand them easily. I can now identify the various past tenses in any given sentence and state how these sentences can be formed grammatically.
