There are a great deal of things to consider in relation to classroom management: the seating arrangement, the teacher's manner, how to and when to talk, building rapport, how to and when to respond to problem behaviour etc. Most of these considerations are relative to the students themselves, the personality of the teacher and the actually plan of the lesson. Some, however, are constants such as the need to keep things simple, maintain eye contact, give all students a chance to participate, be calm, balance teacher talk time well with student talk time etc.
