In this unit we learnt what makes a good teacher, student, the different levels of students, the role of the teacher and what motivates students. Overall, I think that the most important thing that I learnt was about the different roles that teachers have to take on during a class. I currently teach English and I feel I take on these roles naturally, but it is good to have these roles clearly defined and properly understood. Personally, after reading this material, I think I become to involved with my lessons and in future will strive to minimise this.
