I've learned the qualities of a good teacher and the roles a teacher must play in order to be good at their job. I also learned the qualities of a good learner and the levels of language. This unit also covers what motivates a student and the differences in how a student will learn based on their age. The content in this unit has helped me not only understand what I need to know of a student and as a teacher but also as a human trying to connect with others through universal language of the body and kindness. I've gotten a clear understanding on what needs to be stressed in order to keep the students heart and mind open to learning.
