The part of this unit that I found most helpful was the area that described the different levels of language learners. As a student, I have already had a base knowledge of what makes a good teacher or student because of all my years in school. However, the levels of language proficiency in this unit was something I had not encountered directly before, despite my years in foreign language programs. I appreciate how I now have a scale of proficiency in order to better understand where my future students are at and how I can get them to the next level in their language education.
