What I took away from this unit was that a teacher needs to be flexible with their roles. It is important to have a balanced plan that encourages students to learn in a positive way. Keeping their attention requires practices that motivate, prompt, and encourage the student to feel good about how they are absorbing the material. I think that this unit helped to highlight how a teacher can create success in a classroom through their own attitudes/actions related to how the concepts are taught.
