Lesson 10: 2 video lessons compared an unsuccessful lesson with a successful one. In the first video, the teacher was irritated, demanding, condescending, and not a good facilitator which caused the students to feel intimidated and confused and therefore not learn the language point. In the second video, the teacher's attitude, manner, and teaching style were all conducive to provide a good learning environment. The lesson structure and content was appropriate for the students and they learned the presented concept through the phases of engage, study, and activate, with high student talk time and feeling of empowerment to utilize the new concept in real life situations (simulated in the activation stage).
