I learned the different variations of tests and why they are given and what they measure. This was helpful to differentiate as I likely would've been at a loss for words as to which type of test will be used for each situation. I imagine using diagnostic tests and progress tests most often. Also, practice tests will be important for preparing for any external tests, whether that will be for myself or for students in class. I imagine there will be students preparing for proficiency exams.
