Choosing the appropriate coursebooks and lesson materials are important as these will help the teacher from providing information whilst teaching to the class. Although it is arguable whether we should use books or not, it still plays a vital role in the learning process of the students - even the teacher. This unit also taught me whether when to use authentic or created materials as these two are different and we should know what would be more effective kind of materials to use for students.
