Here Below you can check out the feedback (for one of our units) of one of the 16.000 students that last year took an online course with ITTT!

In this unit i've learnt that for the first lesson with a new class, the teacher should not use the course book but instead try to build rapport with the new class and find out about them and their English level. ways of doing this are to do a questionnaire or survey, play a game of pass the ball or do a needs analysis. Warmers are essential when starting a class and types of these are tongue twisters, hangman or memory games, basically anything that livens everyone up and gets everyone thinking in English. I've learnt that when dealing with student son different levels you can use different materials, but for me the gap between the students levels would have to be pretty big to want to do this, instead i like the other idea in this unit where they surest pairing the struggling student with a stronger one but monitoring them to make sure the stronger student is helping and not just doing all the work. I've also learnt that when dealing with large classes a teacher can sometimes appoint group leaders to help with the class, also the teacher should make sure they are heard and their work on the board is clearly seen by all. also the use work sheets and group work can help.
