It is very interesting that parts of speech appear to be more difficult for English speaking students. I am wondering if this is because our American schools have not been spending time teaching this content. Is it because native English speaking students come to school with a good grasp of the English language? I do not remember being taught the parts of speech beyond subject, noun, pronoun, verb, adverb, and adjectives. For myself, I have much to learn.
