Previous to this, as a native speaker, I had never considered the multitude of ways there are to express the future tense. I also had not considered the different ways there are to express different predictions. For example in order to express opinions you can use the 'future simple', 'going to future' or 'future continuous. After learning this I then considered the nuance between these forms when expressing predictions.
