Unit 8 is about future tenses. Future tenses are the most complicated tenses and can be divided into seven categories. These categories are: future simple; future continuous; future perfect; future perfect continuous; be going + infinitive; present simple and present continuous. An example of a future simple sentence is : He will be twenty eight in July. An example of future continuous is: I will be getting on the train at eight. An example of the future perfect tense is: I will have finished my exams by Monday. An example of the future perfect continuous is: He will be driving for two hours before he reaches Paris. An example of 'be going' plus infinitive is: It is going to rain later. An example of the present simple is: The train leaves platform five in ten minutes. An example of the present continuous is: I am meeting him for coffee tomorrow.
