This unit teaches us about receptive skills- reading and listen. All of the receptive skills are equally important, and it is crucial to incorporate all four receptive skills in the lesson. Students and teachers have different reasons and motives for reading and listening. Therefore, when teaching a class, it is important to pick a variety of topics to make it interesting for the students. I learned that in order to facilitate learning, the subject must be interesting to the students. If a student is having fun and engaging, then the student is able to learn at a faster rate.
