This unit teaches us the parts of speech, specifically the components of a sentence. A general sentence follows a subject+verb+object structure. However, there are other components to the sentence such as adverbs, adjectives, propositions, and so on. English is my native language, and I tend to speak it without understanding the components of the sentence. Since studying this unit, I have a further understanding of how multiple components form a sentence, the function of each component, and how it applies in the sentence.
