As with present tense, I find it difficult to remember the usage rules for past tense. This unit is beneficial in providing these rules. I know, however, just from taking this exam, that I need to further review the explanations as to when it is appropriate to use each of the four subcategories.The exam reinforced that I know which sentences are examples of which subcategory but I could not easily tell you why. I also know that prior to teaching these tenses I will be reviewing these usage sections.
