This unit taught me about reported speech, something I had previously never had explicitly explained to me as a native English speaker. I found this lesson extremely helpful because it allowed me to see a relatively difficult lesson from both perspectives and better understand the challenges that come with teaching this lesson to new students. Seeing the differences between different forms of conditional speech greatly helped with my technical understanding of the subject matter.
