Here Below you can check out the feedback (for one of our units) of one of the 16.000 students that last year took an online course with ITTT!

In this Unit i've learnt that eye contact, gestures and use of voice can be helpful in things such as indicating who's turn it is to speak, maintaining discipline, adding visual interest and increasing or decreasing the pace of a lesson. i've also learnt that learning the students names is important in organising activities, acknowledging or getting the attention of students, indicating who is to answer or respond and to build rapport. i have also learnt that teachers positioning is important and with things like Language presentation and Giving instructions the teacher should be standing in a position where the whole class can see and hear clearly but with other things like reading activities there is no need for the teacher to be so dominating so a seated position would work fine. When it comes to TTT (teacher talk time) there should be as little as possible in order to allow more student talk time, but it is important when doing things like giving instructions, establishing rapport or providing language input. In this Unit i have also learnt that it is good to try and prevent behavioural problems by doing thins like making sure you are punctual and well prepared, try to be consistent and fair, to never lose your temper and make your lessons interesting and varied, however if behavioural problems do still occur a teacher should keep calm but act immediately, focus on the behaviour and not the student and if needs be kept the student behind after class to talk about their behaviour.
