This unit was a very good refresher if nothing else. The positive part of this unit was a lot of examples that covered the need to understand the most basic parts of speech. The one part of speech which actually required me to find more information and exmaples beyond those provided was the Gerund. I can certainly see how this specifically would be difficult for non-native speakers. Here it could perhaps be demonstrated in the video supplementary material why it acts as a noun, clarifying the qualities of a noun that makes it act as such together with examples of normal nouns with same qualities, making comparatice sentences. I think this would help a lot!
